In our sunroom is the artistic representation of the sacred meal of St. Francis and St. Clare at St. Mary of the Angels. The artist is Kay Francis Berger, OSF, a Sister of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate.

“Francis began to speak about God in such a sweet, holy and nourishing way that they were rapt in God’s abundant graces. It seemed
to the folks of Assisi that the little church and the forest were all aflame. So they ran down in haste to save St. Mary of the Angels. But when they arrived, they saw that nothing was on fire. They found Francis and Clare rapt in a heavenly fire. It was miraculously revealed to them that a fire of divine love was burning in their holy and pure souls.”
(Little Flowers of St. Francis, 15)
