Many young women thinking about religious life ask the question, "Where do I begin?" or "How do I know if I have a vocation to the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart?" These are not easy questions to answer, but there are many ways to seek information and support that will help in getting to know our Sisters and how our lives are lived each day.
The growth and formation of a Franciscan Sister of the Sacred Heart takes a lifetime. It begins with the first initial contact with one of our Sisters.
This may be through actually meeting one of our Sisters or through a letter, telephone or e-mail inquiry. A young woman seeking more information will be given a description of our Congregation and our way of life through the Vocation Office. E-mail
fsshvocations@aol.com or call:
Sister Nancy Roberta Schramm at (815) 464-3848 OR
Sister Lovina Francis at (815) 464-3873.
Many young women in discernment volunteer with our Sisters, pray in our chapel, walk the paths in our Woods, or just come to talk! You are always welcome! Click
here for more information.
